Third grade's PBL unit on weather has concluded! As featured in previous posts, students worked as a team to create a public service announcement that would keep PNA community safe during severe weather. This project has earned PNA a recognition from the NOAA or National Weather Services as "Weather-Ready Nation Ambassador” because of our commitment to strengthening resilience against extreme weather. According to NWS, the Weather-Ready Nation Ambassador initiative is an effort to formally recognize NOAA partners who are improving the nation’s readiness against extreme weather and climate events.
